Philips Design is a global design agency headquartered in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The agency offers a wide range of design services, from product design, packaging design, identity design, environment design and interface and interaction design to design of the total user experience, innovation design and expertise in understanding people, cultures, and societies. Philips Design is an independent unit within the Philips Group, able to provide design services to all business divisions of Philips, as well to selected external clients.

Connected Bathroom Concept

Philips Design has worked on creating a concept for a connected bathroom, integrating multiple personal consumer bathroom devices (toothbrushes, scales, mirrors, shavers, trimmers, hair dryers) into a single ecosystem. As a digital innovation designer on a team, Alex has been responsible for design, prototyping, user testing and presenting the concepts. The project had a major R&D impact on Philips connected devices strategy.

Mindfulness-assisted Sleep Therapy App

A mobile app designed to assist people with developing a better sleeping habit. Alex was responsible for designing and prototyping the app.
